Brian Carlson - President & CEO
Brian comes to eThink with a unique mix of education and technology skills. Receiving a BS in Physics from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, he became very interested in different methods of teaching and learning. He spent two years as a teacher in the country of Vanuatu in the South Pacific where he experienced the challenges of delivering quality educational resources to students. Brian has worked for several technology startups. Most recently he spent six years working for SunGard Higher Education as a Senior Technical Consultant for the PowerCAMPUS Administrative Suite. In this capacity, he had the opportunity to work with over eighty small to medium sized colleges and universities. Brian left SunGard Higher Education to begin eThink Education because he saw the benefit and impact of open source Learning Management Systems for colleges and universities.
